Heal Trafficking is an interdisciplinary, nonprofit organization dedicated to health, education, advocacy, and the training of healthcare professionals about human trafficking. Heal Trafficking believes that human trafficking is as much a public health issue as it is a legal one, and they’re working to mobilize a shift toward trauma-informed care in the healthcare sector.

Healthcare professionals can learn more about how to respond to human trafficking through Heal Trafficking’s education initiatives, the Protocol Toolkit, and committees. Non-healthcare professionals can also become involved by donating to Heal Trafficking or asking their doctor about the practices they’re taking in response to human trafficking.
