Most modern-day enslaved people endure forced labor. Harold D'Souza was one of them.
In 2003 Harold D'Souza came to the United States from India on an H1B Visa. A labor trafficker tricked him and his wife, Dancy, into working for a restaurant for nothing. The trafficker also insisted that Mr. D'Souza owed him a large debt which needed to be worked off.
