Read Polaris Project’s new report on Trafficking in Illicit Massage Businesses
In a new report created by the Polaris Project, more than 9,000 illicit massage businesses (IMBs) have been found across the United States, many of which are venues for human trafficking. The IMBs are businesses that are often organized into criminal networks that produce a revenue of around $2.5 billion a year.
