An Aruna Run is a 5k run or walk where participants raise funds for a specific woman trapped in modern-day enslavement. When you sign up for an Aruna Run, you are given the name of a woman who is a victim or survivor of human trafficking. You can receive her name either online in advance or on the day of the race.
Currently, Aruna is hosting seven runs in cities across the United States from Portland, OR to Youngstown, OH. If your city is not among them you can sign up to host an Aruna Run here. To learn more about the Aruna Project itself, click here.
