Today, more than a quarter of the world's enslaved workers are children. "Jhalki," due to be released in September 2019, explores this tragic fact.

Based on true events, "Jhalki" explores the horrifying world of human trafficking and child labor. When her brother disappears, nine-year-old Jhalki resolves to find him. She is aided in her quest by her own sharp mind and a folk tale about a sparrow.
