January 11th is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day. Honor it by finding and attending an anti-trafficking event in your community.
Since 2009, APED has been a social actor that works to find quick and lasting solutions to the various problems that affect vulnerable populations in the DRC. Our experience is in working in emergency post-conflict areas such as the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. We are also a development organization whose programs are focused on care and education; water sanitation, hygiene and health; nutrition; and food security. Projects involve supporting former child soldiers and vulnerable children.
