History

CRF was established on November 20, 2000 by four Cambodians who have extensive experience in child rights and children and youth empowerment work. CRF provides the following: child rights education; assists the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport with implementing child friendly school policies; empowers children and young people in strengthening child rights governance within schools and local authorities by supporting the school children's councils and child and youth-led groups; provides child protection leadership and support for schools and communities across the key areas of corporal punishment, child labor, safe schools, migration and trafficking; and improves access to water supply, sanitation and hygiene for schools and communities.
