Free for Life International

Volunteer Opportunities: Yes

We partner with organizations and individuals globally to meet the needs of trafficking survivors and those who are considered to be at high risk of being trafficked. We partner by providing financial, emotional and spiritual support.

How We Work

To focus our efforts in 4 main areas: Shelters, Stations (Border Monitoring), Scholarships, & Sustainable Projects.

  • Shelters - Sanctuaries that become loving homes for rescued girls fostering health, stability and self-confidence. 100% of all needs are met free of charge.
  • Stations (Border Monitoring) - Free for Life partners with Peace Rehabilitation Center at a border monitoring station in Krishnanagar on the Nepal / India border to intervene in situations of suspected trafficking.
  • Scholarships - Scholarships are given to young women who have been victimized by trafficking as well as those considered to be high risk of being trafficked. These scholarships allow young women to attend a 6 month skills training course.
  • Sustainable Projects - One of the main ways Free for Life promotes sustainability is through our Tailoring Program. Each class is made up of 20-30 girls who want to learn a sustainable skill to build on their new lives of freedom. Upon graduation, each girl receives a brand new sewing machine to assist her in this process.
