History

Until 2010, the Ottawa Coalition to End Human Trafficking was a committee of PACT- Ottawa. The committee brought together agencies in the national capital region that were ready, willing and able to assist a trafficked person. When the committee had enough growth it was decided, with the support of St. Joe’s Women’s Centre, that it should break away from PACT-Ottawa and become its own organization with a focused mandate to meet the resource and support needs of trafficked persons

Mission

We work to meet the acute, immediate and long-term resource and support needs of persons affected by human trafficking, including survivors, their families and communities, as well as persons who may be at risk of exploitation for the purposes of sexual exploitation, labour exploitation or organ removal / harvest.
