Take a trip to Cincinnati, Ohio, USA to visit the world's first museum-quality permanent exhibit on the subjects of modern day enslavement and human trafficking at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.
The Center for Combating Human Trafficking at Wichita State University is dedicated to addressing systemic issues of humanitarianism and justice that create the breeding grounds for labor or sex trafficking.
We employ a collaborative multi-disciplinary approach that seeks to bridge the gap between direct practice, research and policy. This includes providing public awareness and professional training, prevention services, early identification and intervention services, survivor protection and human rights advocacy and recovery and prosperity services, while at the same time working to reduce the demand that encourages trafficking to occur in the first place.
CCHT assists partners in preventing, assessing, identifying, evaluating and intervening in cases of human trafficking through providing: education, training, consultation and technical assistance, research and policy development.
