Understanding how the COVID-19 pandemic impacts communities who are susceptible to human trafficking is the first step in fighting back.
ISD started its operation in 1999 to rehabilitate women and children of cyclone affected areas. During this intervention, we came across victims of domestic violence and trafficking survivors, and their sufferings persuaded us to work on them. The immediate solution was to rehabilitate them in shelter homes.
