Volunteer Opportunities: Yes
The desire to be part of the solution to human trafficking started in 2010 when a young couple came to our church to share their involvement with girls in the sex slave trade. For months the desire to do something burned inside, and eventually became an all consuming call to do my part. From that desire to do more, Worthwhile Wear was born, and today we operate in India; have launched housing and restorative services in America in our program called The Well; have launched two stores, Worthwhile Thrift and Freedom Boutique; and are engaging the young adult culture through our Worthwhile>>GO initiative. Worthwhile Wear is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization, and serves as the parent organization over these different programs, initiative and stores.
